Office / Gallery in Munich

In addition to developing exhibition projects, Maurer Zilioli – Contemporary Arts focuses on examining art in its form and content, networking, and on the presentation of art works as well as arranging purchases.
These combined purposes are also the reason behind its designation as an office and gallery. Meanwhile, Ellen Maurer Zilioli herself has maintained strong connections to Italy and continues to seek out projects that foster and expand them.
Maurer Zilioli’s salotto (“little salon”) in Munich, for instance, offers space for sharing ideas, meeting artists, and experiencing artworks on a personal level. The main subjects explored include contemporary photography and related media, paintings, collages and paper-based works, installations and other spatial concepts, jewelry, and transcendent movements in realms traditionally referred to as the “applied” arts.
